Character design for my animation class, I think it didn’t turn out too bad, might need some touch ups.
Sketched out in pencil then painted in Photoshop CS6
Hello,
Doing colored headshots for $10 w/o shipping, may be made into keychains or simply hole punched and left alone for no extra charge. I am raising money to see Blackantlers23 this summer and any commissions are appreciated!
The flat rate for shipping to the US is $1.50 but if you purchase anything from my Etsy, decide against shipping, or get more than one headshot (you can have as many as you would like) then you can waive the shipping cost.
If you would rather pay under $10 but still want an original piece, you may send any amount you’d like to my paypal—be sure to include a reference image for your character, pet, whatever you would like drawn—and I will sketch or ink a headshot for you in return.
If you would rather pick up some amazing collage work or music please see my Dear’s blog.
Thank you! Also, please reblog this! We both appreciate the help!
my friend Felix makes some cool art, help an artist out!
when it comes to digital painting, would any of you recommend one of adobe programs say photoshop or illustrator or corel painter when it comes to doing digital paintings?
For my painting class this past semester, I revised some drawings I did into paintings based off a spiritual experience I had.

Emilie Autumn fan art piece (which I’ve been meaning to make for three plus years now) but when I went to her show a couple weeks ago, I finally had a purpose to make it. I gave it to someone in her maintenance crew to give to her, I hope she got/liked it. C:

feel free to check it out :>
What frustrates me the most about people who don’t ‘get’ art is that they think art is this picture, painting, booklet, that they see with their two eyes, and that’s it. They judge the value of it (monetary or otherwise) based on whether it looks good or not. Art pieces are objects, movements, moments in a social, political, emotional, conceptual context. It doesn’t just float around in nothingness, it’s a response to the universe surrounding it (whether tangible or not), and the world around it responds to it, too. I don’t want to sound like a douchebag; art is simpler than that, words just make it complicated.
